    • To Pole? On October 11th? Dang. You walkin’? Cuz we don’t even have the Basler and Twin Otters flying through from Rothera on their cross-Antarctic commute to McMurdo until the 13th or so. Youmust mean McMurdo. They have planes in.

      And thanks for hte offer of a beer, but a ginger beer would be better suited to me if we ever meet.

      • I’m scheduled to be in McMurdo on Oct. 15. I’ll be on one of the early Basler flights.

        Ginger beer? I thought that was illegal at the South Pole.
