Joe Z. here from CT. I followed Nathan Greenland’s Winter Polie log last winter, I was addicted to reading it. No Nathan this year, sounds like your’s is the one I’ll be reading! How about some pictures?
Hey, I bet you’re going to get a LOT of loyal followers now that you’ve been interviewed for the last episode of “In The Loop”. I’ve always been fascinated by Antarctica, and have fantasized about trying to visit someday (one of my former bosses, at an office job, went to McMurdo for a few weeks — that fueled my envy), so I LOVED that Sanden interviewed you and told the world about your journal! Your writing is fantastic; thank you SO much for putting it out there and sharing your experiences!
Ah, what a fascinating life you have chosen. And what a great read for the rest of us! If you would like to read about life and viewpoints from New Jersey, drop by and visit me sometime at: jersey-rants.blogspot.com. As I write this, we are having yet another blizzard here. Probably nothing compared with what you experience in the Great White South. Take care and keep warm, Nancy

Indeed, many of us will be missing Nathan, even here at Pole.
There are pictures in my blog. Patience.
Thanks for reading.

can you access your e-mail from down there? Can you see mine from this blog site?
It’d be nice to talk to you without bugging your bosses.

A base isolated from the world,
Astronomers down at the South Pole in the
‘Land of always Night’. God only knows what secrets lurk in that night sky.
Booze lugs as well.
Geneveive, this is the type of science adventure that’s obsessed me all my life. Please keep writing!

Thank you so much for your kind words, Amy. I enjoyed the interview, the questions were fun and I had fun dodging the scandal seeking. =)
